Mission-
Seventh Moutnain Recreation is dedicated to providing quality recreation to our guests. We are greatful that we get to make a living in our industry and appriciate the support of our local community. To give back we host a few events and donate to local fundraising events if the eventh supports stewardship and recreation in the Deschutes National Forest or the economic vitality and education of Central Oregon.
Seventh Mountain Recreation provides quality recreation to our guests. We are grateful that we get to make a living in our industry and appreciate the support of our local community. To give back we host a few events, and we will donate to local fundraising. We will donate to organizations that place an emphasis on stewardship and recreation in the Deschutes National Forest or the economic vitality and education of Central Oregon youth.
Typical donations are either a certificate for 2 on Big Eddy or a certificate for 2 for ice skating for the current season. Other donations can include Stand Up Paddleboard rentals, river tubes or conference center space. Please make sure your doners know that these certificates expire at the end of the season as we can not extend the expiration date because that can have a negative impact on our business and limits what we can donate in the following year. We also request that donations are reciprocated with posting a poster, setting out some brochures and we would love an invite to your fundraiser. It is also incredible when schools or organizations set up a group rafting or ice skating event with us.
If you are interested in receiving a donation, please fill out the form below and we will get you a gift certificate, information on how to make a reservation, poster and brochures. Please give us at least 2 weeks prior to your event.
Fundraisers that are Hosted at Seventh Mountain Resort
OUT Central Oregon – Wigs Ice Breaker
Hosted under the colorful lights of the ice rink, we kick off Winter Pride Fest with and ice breaker! Grab a wig and come celebrate winter.
MBSEF- Kids Pole Peddle Paddle
The day after the infamous PPP multi stage relay from Mt Bachelor to town is the kids turn! Local kids assemble teams of 6 to compete in a multi stage obstacle course. This is a Wishes by Wyndham event that is the kickoff to summer.
Rumble On the River
Our river guides favorite event. Guides will seek community sponsorship to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club. Guides will race through Big Eddy as an R2 in a qualifying time trial and then boatercross 4 rafts at a time to determine the winner. BBQ, awards and yard games follow the race at the resort.
Bend Whitewater – Hot Lava Kayak Race
Hosted for advanced kayakers when the conditions allow, local kayakers assemble for bragging rights in the community for who is the fastest through Lava.
The Giving Plate – Food Drive
During the week prior to Thanksgiving we host our annual food drive. In exchange for your donation we provide you with a Skate Club card that entitles the bearer $5 ice skating and rentals each visit all season long. We collect over 2500 lbs of food annually and this Wishes by Wyndham event truly embodies the since of community.
